Hunterdon Healthcare and HealthQuest of Hunterdon Will Host Program: Helping Students Return to Learn and Play After A Concussion

Hunterdon Healthcare and HealthQuest of Hunterdon will present “Helping students Return to Learn and Play after a Concussion” on Thursday, April 20th from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.   The program will be held at HealthQuest in the Adult Lounge, 310 HealthQuest Blvd. in Flemington.

A concussion is a serious traumatic brain injury that can impair a person’s cognitive abilities, such as reasoning, and remembering, as well as psychological, neurological and physical health.   Concussions can occur from a fall or blow to the body that causes the head and brain to move quickly back and forth.

Gail Burack, PhD, Child Development Center and Andy Overman, PT, Hunterdon Sports and Physical Therapy will lead this informational program.
