Hunterdon Healthcare to Host Facebook Chat on Breast Cancer Awareness

One in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. Women with certain risk factors are more likely to develop breast cancer. Some risk factors can be avoided while other are genetically based and cannot.

Join Hunterdon Healthcare for a live Facebook chat on Thursday, October 19 from 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. to discuss breast cancer risk factors, learn about genetic factors, and about why it is important to get a yearly mammogram. Have your questions and concerns addresses directly by a professional. To join the chat, visit the Hunterdon Healthcare Facebook page at facebook.com/Hunterdonhealthcare. If you are unable to join the chat but would still like your question answered, email your questions to jexley@hhsnj.org or private message the Hunterdon Healthcare Facebook page.

The chat will be moderated by Alice Quinn, Hunterdon Women’s Imaging Center Manager, and Kristen Koprowski, MS, LGC, Genetic Counselor, Family Risk Assessment Program.
