COMPOSITE SKETCH RELEASED IN FRENCHTOWN STRONG ARM ROBBERY Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, Chief of Detectives John J. Kuczynski and Frenchtown Borough Police Chief Al Kurylka announce the release of a composite sketch of the suspect wanted in the Strong Arm Robbery that occurred in Frenchtown on March 22, 2015. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Frenchtown Borough Police Department are conducting a joint investigation into a robbery that took place at 12:30 pm on March 22, 2015. The victim, a 91 year old woman, had parked her car and was walking from the parking lot of the Frenchtown Market when she was accosted by the suspect. The suspect ran up to the woman and snatched the purse from her shoulder before fleeing on foot. The victim went inside the Frenchtown Market and called 911. It was later determined that the suspect loitered outside the store for 15 to 20 minutes prior to the incident. The suspect was described as a light-skinned male wearing dark blue jeans and a green hooded jacket pulled over his head. Hunterdon County Crimestoppers has raised the reward to $1,000 dollars for information leading to the arrest of the suspect wanted in the robbery of the 91 year old woman that occurred during broad daylight in Frenchtown. According to Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, “The New Jersey State Police Forensic Artist Unit has provided a composite sketch of the individual sought in connection with this crime. The Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Frenchtown Borough Police are working diligently to track down this individual and we urge anyone with information to please come forward. I would like to thank the New Jersey State Police Forensic Artist Unit for their assistance in the investigation.
