Hunterdon Medical Center will host the 13th Annual Baby, Tot and Kid Fair, a free event for expectant parents, new families and parents of toddlers and young children on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Main Lobby of the hospital.

The Baby, Tot and Kid Fair will provide attendees with the information they need to make decisions about taking care of their young children and family.  Come and learn about:

  • Obstetricians, Midwives, Pediatricians and Family Practice Physicians
  • The Maternity and Newborn Care Center
  • Lamaze and Hypnobirthing classes
  •  Parenting Education Classes
  • Child Care Providers
  • Preschools
  • Nutrition
  • Breastfeeding
  • Community classes for children
  • The Child Development Center
  • Tour the Maternity and Newborn Care Center
  • And much more!

Plan on participating in:

9:00 a.m. – Mini Gymnastics for ages 2-6 with Shields Gymnastics

9:45 a.m. – Music Class with Music Together Family & Friends

10:30 a.m.- Keeping Fit and Feeling Good During Pregnancy and Postpartum presented by Deirdre Masterton, M.D., Advanced Obstetrics and Gynecology

11:00 a.m. – USA Karate and Fitness – Basic Martial Arts Class for Kids

11:30 a.m. – Strategies to Reduce Cesarean Births presented by Mamie Bowers, M.D., All Women’s Healthcare

12:00 p.m. – Little Ninja Gymnastics for ages 3-7 with Gymnastics Unlimited

12:30 p.m. – Family Yoga – for families to enjoy together, bring your infants, toddlers and kids all are welcome  presented by Millie Wingler, Children’s Yoga Teacher, Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers

Come and get your picture taken with Elsa and Elena of Avalor from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

In addition, during the month of April Hunterdon Medical Center is proud to be sponsoring the United Way of Hunterdon County and NORWESCAP’s Diaper Bank.  The diapers will be distributed to local food pantries in our community. With every box of diapers an attendee brings to the fair, he/she will be entered to win a car seat.
