HUNTERDON SHERIFF OFFICERS VENTURE INTO PENNSY TO PICK UP WANTED MAN

Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Detectives traveled to York, Pennsylvania to arrest a probation violator.  Working in conjunction with the Dauphin County Sheriff’s Office, York County Parole  Officials and the York County Sheriff’s Office, Detectives Frank Modaffare and Lamont Garnes arrested and returned Anthony D. Eaton, a York, Pennsylvania resident, to face charges of violating his parole for failure to pay fines and fees and also submit to substance abuse evaluations.   Eaton had been placed on probation for three years in November 2016  based on his conviction of third degree possession of drugs.

The 49 year old Eaton was lodged in the Somerset County Jail where he was retained on five thousand dollars bail awaiting a hearing in Hunterdon County Superior Court.
