IN FLEMINGTON Yesterday’s Treasures Thrift Shop To Celebrate Anniversary with Special Sale and New Sunday Hours

Yesterday’s Treasures, a boutique thrift shop, is celebrating its two-year anniversary on October 11, 2016. From Sunday, October 9 to Saturday, October 15 all items will be 30% off.

Yesterday’s Treasures features a wide variety of unique and eclectic items such as household items, home décor, artwork, lamps, holiday merchandise, baskets, toys (dolls), glassware and much more.

The Hunterdon Medical Center Foundation, in conjunction with the Hunterdon Medical Center Auxiliary, opened Yesterday’s Treasures in October 2014 at the corner of Sandhill Road and Route 31. Initial funding to support the plans and offset part of the renovations was bequeathed to Hunterdon Medical Center by Christiana Mueller, of Raritan Township, who passed away in November 2010. For 37 years, Ms. Mueller volunteered at Hunterdon Medical Center traveling to each floor with a courtesy cart full of magazines, snacks and small gift items. In her will, she left the hospital nearly $25,000.

The shop is staffed by volunteers and is open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and now open on Sundays from 12:00pm-4:00pm.

All of the proceeds from Yesterday’s Treasures benefit programs and services at Hunterdon Medical Center. Yesterday’s Treasures is located at 215 Route 31 South in Flemington.  For more information, call 908-237-6097.
