At Acorn Montessori School, students are given an academic experience that exceeds most traditional settings.  Acorn provides an education for children ages 18 months to 6th grade.  Established in 1984, Acorn celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2015.  Acorn is a community of teachers and staff who, through compassion and respect, offer academic excellence to foster a life-long love of learning to their students.  Children are nurtured at Acorn to develop characteristics like self-confidence, a sense of personal responsibility, and an awareness of their local and global communities.  This “whole-child” approach – coupled with the commitment to provide a strong academic foundation in an age-appropriate setting – has helped the children go on to become motivated learners, effective leaders and active citizens.  To learn more about Acorn, please visit the website www.acornschool.org or call the office at 908-730-8986.
