Isabella K. Gordon
WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP, PA – Isabella K. Gordon, 90, of Williams Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, PA.
Born September 26, 1924 in Scotch Plains, NJ, Isabella lived there for many years. She also lived in Milford, NJ and Princeton, WI before recently moving to Williams Township, PA. Isabella was a ceramics teacher at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, WI. Prior to that, she was an occupational therapist at the Westfield Convalescent Center in Westfield, NJ, she was also the owner of Dusty Haven Ceramics in Milford, NJ for many years. A loving and generous person, Isabella and her husband were foster parents to many children during the early years of their marriage. Isabella enjoyed traveling, knitting, tatting, sewing, and crocheting.
Daughter of the late Christian and Jessie (Spencer) Kuehn, Isabella is survived by her four daughters Isabella Merkle of Indiana, Dianalyn Sirota of New Hampshire, Grace Bishop of Glen Gardner, NJ, and Christine Horvath of Holland Township, NJ, her son Robert T. Gordon, Jr. of Oklahoma, her sister Joyce Martin of Martinsville, NJ, her 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years Robert T. Gordon, Sr., her brother Christian Kuehn, and her sister Elizabeth Dysher.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
