Josephine Faraone, age 88 years, of Pittstown

Josephine Faraone, age 88 years, of Pittstown, NJ, died on Friday, March 25, 2016 in Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ.

Born at home in Newark, NJ, November 14, 1927, daughter of the late Nicolo and Lucia Quatrocchie Fiorello, she was raised in Newark and had lived in Edison, NJ before moving to Pittstown in 1977.

She formerly worked as an assembly person for Westinghouse, Edison, NJ.

Josephine worked very hard over the years to help support her family and was truly a good person whose loving and kind heart will be missed by many. Her sons fondly recall her having a “third sense” in which she always knew when they were in trouble and always came to their aid. It is that deep-seeded love which they, along with many others, will take and make part of their own persona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dante Faraone, in 2003 after fifty-six years of marriage.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Alexander and Nancy Faraone of Kingwood Township, NJ, Nicholas Faraone and Mary Desantis of Staten Island, NY, and Dante and Linda Faraone, Jr. of Annandale, NJ; a sister, Lily Reccia; a brother and sister-in-law, Samuel and Connie Fiorello; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial held at Our Lady of Victories Church, Route 519, Baptistown, NJ and officiated by Rev. Rev. Krzysztof Kaczynski will be announced under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
