JUDGE Ann R. Bartlett PORTRAIT HUNG AT HUNTERDON COURTHOUSE

– As of Friday, July 7, 2017, a new portrait adorns the walls of the Hunterdon County Justice Center in honor of the Hon. Ann R. Bartlett, J.S.C. (Ret.). Before her appointment to the New Jersey Superior Court, Judge Bartlett was a matrimonial attorney in Hunterdon County.
After many years of active participation in both the Hunterdon County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association, she was President of the Hunterdon County Bar Association for the 1993-1994 term and President of the New Jersey State Bar Association for the 1999-2000 term.
She won the Tischler Award in 2000, a lifetime achievement award recognizing contributions to advancing the development of family law and the profession, community service, and dedication to family law issues through education and advocacy. Judge Bartlett was appointed to the Superior Court in 2001, presiding over the Criminal Part and the Family Part at various times in Hunterdon, Somerset and Warren Counties before retiring in 2016. She lives in Glen Gardner with her husband, Robert Alexander, and spends time enjoying their nine grandchildren, traveling, volunteer work, tennis and golf. Her portrait is now permanently displayed in Courtroom 5 of the Hunterdon County Justice Center.
