On Tuesday, May 17, at approximately 3:45 pm, an officer stopped a 2001 Nissan Maxima operated by a seventeen (17) year-old Lebanon boy on Center Street because the boy was not wearing his seatbelt. During the stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana inside of the vehicle and soon discovered the boy to be in possession of several bags of it as well as a digital scale and a glass pipe. The boy was issued juvenile complaints for Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Failure to Wear Seatbelt. He was released to the custody of his parents
