KEHILAT HANAHAR WELCOMES AND NAMES ITS NEWEST MEMBER

A baby naming was held on Sunday, May 31 to welcome little Georgia Leipzig Kayes to the community of synagogue Kehilat Hanahar, also known as “The Little Shul by the River,” in New Hope.  She was given a Hebrew name in memory of three women in her family:  Anne Leipzig, Ruth Sage, and Mary Jo Leipzig.  Parents Nicole Sage and John Kayes, along with many family members, were present for the ceremony which incorporated various personal artifacts from the family’s history.  Pictured here (from left to right) are John Kayes, Rabbi Diana Miller who is signing Georgia’s naming certificate, Nicole Sage, and Georgia.
