Lambertville: Raymond Fisher, 91

A lifelong resident of Lambertville, Ray had retired from the New Jersey Department of Transportation, road maintenance division. Ray served in the United States Army during World War II, storming the beaches of Normandy on the second day of the battle. Ray was a member of the American Legion Toscanni Post, 120 in Lambertville. He and his late wife Jean enjoyed all forms of dancing and was a pastime for the two of them enjoyed.

Son of the late Raymond and Ethel Burroughs Fisher and brother of the late Vera Miller, Obbie Stoy and Maude Dempsey, he is survived by his daughter Debbie Hamilton and her husband Les, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 11:30 am at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville. Burial will follow with military honors at the Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Twp. Calling hour will be from 10:30 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
