LETTER – Activists Protest Egregious Exxon Settlement Deal at Governor’s Hasbrouck Heights Town Hall Meeting

WHAT:          Environmental, community, and faith-based groups will be joining together to bring the message directly to Gov. Christie that NJ residents oppose the NJDEP’s proposed Exxon Settlement   


                        Activists will be calling on the Governor to reject the settlement agreement NJDEP has proposed to enter into with Exxon, impacting 18 industrial sites and over 800 gas stations across the state.  The deal includes the Teterboro Airport Fuel Farm, practically across the street from the site of the Governor’s Town Hall meeting.  Activists will also discuss what concerned citizens can do now to formally oppose the deal before the NJDEP.
