We are writing to encourage the community of Readington
Township to show their support and vote on Nov. 7 for Lisa
Hughes for the Readington seat of the Hunterdon Central
Regional High School Board of Education.
As Readington Township residents, parents of three children who
currently attend Readington Middle School and a neighbor of
Lisa, we can attest firsthand to the character and level of interest
and commitment that Lisa has for this community and for the
educational experience our children will have.
We have known Lisa for 11 years and have no doubt she would
be very successful in this position. Lisa not only has the
educational and legal experience beneficial for this role, she also
has the leadership qualities that are necessary to steer decisionmaking
in a positive, productive and responsible direction. Lisa
is one of the most levelheaded, fair, trustworthy and
conscientious people we know, and we cannot think of anyone
better suited to do this job. She is someone that we have always
trusted our children with, and definitely someone we want our
children’s future education to be in the hands of.
Lisa is always considerate of everyone’s opinions and needs and
will be the voice of all concerned parents and community
members alike. She has the unique ability to appreciate all
aspects of challenging situations find resolution that makes
sense. This paired with her genuine concern for the Readington
township community and education system makes her the
