On Election Day – Tuesday, November 7th – residents of Readington Township will have the opportunity to elect to the Hunterdon Central High School Board of Education a highly accomplished and dynamic new addition – Lisa Hughes.
We have known Lisa for ten years and we know her to be a dedicated, hard-working, “get it done” person who rolls up her sleeves and gives her all to everything she sets her mind to – be it serving as homeroom representative, leading the Readington Township schools’ Book Fairs, providing valuable insights while serving on the Board of Directors at The Preschool of Whitehouse UMC, or managing the local chapter of “Girls on the Run.” Lisa has proven leadership skills and great ideas that will enable Hunterdon Central to realize its full potential.
Lisa is a person of the highest integrity, with no agenda other than a strong desire to make our high school the best it can possibly be. Lisa is the mother of two boys who will soon be entering high school. As such, she has a vested interest in ensuring that her sons have the best possible education. She has “skin in the game,” so to speak, and we will all benefit – parents, residents, taxpayers – but most importantly our students, both current and future attendees of Hunterdon Central.
We are extremely thankful and grateful that someone as talented and dedicated as Lisa Hughes, who has already given so much of herself to our community, has decided to run for this important position. Please vote for Lisa Hughes on November 7th.
