Linda Jean Luizza, age 64, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.
She was born on July 8, 1953 in Belleville, NJ. She resided in Clinton Twp., NJ since 1982, moving from Middlesex County.
She was the daughter of the late George W. and Margaret Cassidy Watters.
Linda was the wife of Irving T. Luizza Jr., celebrating 44 years of marriage. The couple got engaged at Linda’s Senior Prom before her graduation at Edison High School.
She was an Office Manager for Pilat North America Inc. in Whitehouse Station, NJ. She worked for the company for 19 years.
Linda loved gardening, flowers and going to the beach. She also had a true passion for Halloween and will always be remembered for her over-the-top Halloween displays and trick-or-treating festivities in her hometown of Annandale.
Survivors in addition to her loving husband include two daughters; Karen Zeigenfuss and her husband Dave of Newtown Square, PA and Jeanmarie Sellner and her husband Jonathan of NJ. One granddaughter; Avery Raine Zeigenfuss. Linda is also survived by six siblings; Joan DeLuca and her husband Lou, Margaret M. Moran, Thomas J. Watters and his wife Bert, Barbara Baumgarten and her husband Kurt, Robert A. Watters and his wife Marcia, and Kathleen Kearns and her husband Larry. One sister-in-law; Ann Marie Chamberlain and her husband Michael. Several nieces and nephews.
Linda is predeceased by one brother; George L. Watters and one sister; Janet M. Welsh and her husband Jimmy.
Gathering of friends will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 12noon – 2pm. Memorial service will immediately follow at 2pm. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment will be private.
