On August 10, 2017 several local business owners volunteered their services to help move a storage shed from the Clinton Township Police Headquarters to nearby Bundt Park. The moving of the shed required a heavy duty crane and large flatbed trailer. The shed will be utilized by the Clinton Township Department of Public Works at Bundt Park. The removal of the shed was in preparation for the installation of a pole barn behind police headquarters.
Matt Rocca of Clinton Township and owner of GAR Equipment based in South Plainfield, NJ organized the volunteer services and also provided his companies flatbed truck and trailer.
Richard Pieros of Whitehouse Station and owner of Pieros Roofing Specialists based out of Somerville, NJ assisted in the rigging process of preparing the shed for transport.
Eddie Shinn of Whitehouse Station and owner of EH Shinn Inc. Crane Rentals donated his time and operated his crane to remove the shed.
Due to their generosity and dedication to their communities, these individuals saved the Township a considerable amount of money by volunteering their services to help the police department.
