Local Cancer Survivors and Caregivers to be Honored at American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Hunterdon County

Local cancer survivors and their caregivers will take the celebratory first lap at the annual American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Hunterdon County event on June 16, 2017 at the Hunterdon County Fairgrounds in Ringoes, NJ. The Survivors Lap will begin at 6:00pm following our opening ceremonies.

Anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers are encouraged to join the celebration. As the survivors walk, other participants will cheer them on in a demonstration of support and celebration.

Base Entertainment will keep us walking all night long, come see our Luau Themed Campsites!  Activities and entertainment for ALL ages -face painting, games, themed laps, karaoke and much, much more!

The Relay For Life of Hunterdon County is a community event where teams and individuals come together to honor, celebrate, and raise funds and awareness in an effort to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer. Money raised will help the American Cancer Society provide free information and support for people facing the disease today, and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations.

“Relay For Life is a chance to make the greatest impact in the fight to end cancer,” said Stephen Rek, Hunterdon County volunteer Relay For Life Event Leader. “Many participants are our loved ones who have faced cancer themselves. Each new team brings us one step closer to saving more lives.”
