Monday, July 20, 2015 @ approximately 11:38 PM – Police arrested Ryan J. Cartwright, age 26 of Philadelphia, PA and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol following a motor vehicle stop on Copper Hill Road. Cartwright was initially stopped for failure to maintain lane control on Rt. 202/31. He was issued additional summonses for failure to maintain lane control, reckless driving, careless driving, open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Cartwright was also charged criminally with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute (oxycodone and LSD), possession of a controlled dangerous substance (oxycodone and LSD), possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia (metal grinder) and use or being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance (oxycodone). The vehicle was towed and Cartwright was lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail on the drug charges ($75,000.00 bail with no 10 % option). Investigation and arrest by P.O. Ben Donaruma.
