@ approximately 10:12 AM – Police arrested Valerie R. Birardi age 19 and Yasir H. Fahmy, age 20, both of Raritan Township, and charged each with narcotics offenses following a motor vehicle stop on Reaville Avenue. Birardi was initially stopped for a broken tail light and Fahmy was a passenger in her vehicle. Birardi was ultimately charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia (cigar blunts) and possession of alcoholic beverages while under legal age. She was also issued motor vehicle summonses for maintenance of lamps, failure to inspect and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. Fahmy was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia (cigar blunts), possession of alcoholic beverages while under legal age and disorderly conduct.
