On Saturday, April 18, at approximately 10:50 am, Patrolman Brian Dickson responded to a Petticoat Lane property for a report of a man with a laceration to his leg from a chainsaw. Upon arrival, Ptl. Dickson observed the man—a sixty (60) year-old Clinton Township resident—with bandages on his leg and lying on his back. The victim advised that he was cutting down a tree stump when the chainsaw kicked back and struck his leg. Several bystanders then assisted by placing the bandages on the man’s leg. The Clinton Rescue Squad responded, treated the man, and transported him to Morristown Memorial Hospital for further treatment.
