Man who took off with dvds and pants found …. in the county jail

Detectives charged Jesse K. Aubry, age 30 of Somerville, NJ with shoplifting from Walmart on Rt. 31. On April 8, 2015, a loss prevention employee from Walmart reported a subject that he had observed shoplifting had fled the store. Video surveillance footage provided a description of the suspected shoplifter and a vehicle that he got into that subsequently fled the scene. Further investigation revealed the subject had shoplifted 17 DVD movies and 1 pair of pants valued at $456.45. On April 22, detectives interviewed Aubry at the Hunterdon County Jail where he was lodged on charges from another jurisdiction. As a result of the investigation, Aubry was subsequently charged with shoplifting from Walmart in Raritan Township on April 8. Bail was set at $2,500.00 with no 10% option and Aubry remained lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail. Investigation and arrest by Det. Scott Nelson.
