Marielena Miller, age 53 years, of East Amwell Township,

Life Legacy

Marielena Miller, age 53 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, March 27, 1963, daughter of Anthony Vito and Jean Ruth Spano Fasanella, she had resided in Ringoes, NJ for the past twenty years, she had formerly resided in Somerset and South Plainfield, NJ.

She had formerly worked for many years as a Human Resource Manager for Price Waterhouse Coopers, NYC, NY.

A true humanitarian by nature, Marielena’s compassion was felt by all who came into her presence. If she had only a $5.00 bill in her possession, she would give someone in need that $5.00 and inquire what more she could do. That is who she is and the legacy she leaves for those to live by, hoping, as John Lennon wrote, “They may say I am a dreamer, perhaps I am not the only one. One day I hope you’ll join us, and the world will live as one.”

In addition to her kindness and compassion, Marielena loved working out and keeping in good physical shape.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert Miller.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of twenty-seven years, Michael R. Miller with whom she joined hands in marriage on October 1, 1988; her brother, Anthony Mario Fasanella of Philadelphia, PA; her mother-in-law, Helen Rose Miller of South Plainfield, NJ; several brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many close friends.
