Mary Jarmson Bush, age 79, of Bridgewater, NJ passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.
She was born in Somerville, NJ and lived in Oldwick, NJ until she was 11 years old. She spent the rest of her life in the same house in Bridgewater, NJ.
Mary was the daughter of the late William and Johanna Brown Jarmson.
She was a Flight Attendant for 43 years with United Airlines, based out of Newark, NJ until her retirement in 2002. Her career with United was exciting, but her proudest times were serving as Senior Flight Attendant for both of Ronald Reagan’s Presidential campaigns.
Mary loved to throw parties and was always a caretaker for someone in need. She was always ready to help anyone – family or friend. She also loved spending time with her Granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Schumacher and her husband Derek of Lebanon, NJ. Granddaughter, Johannah Schumacher of Lebanon, NJ. Sister, Nora Specian of Bound Brook, NJ., and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by sister Margaret Hartman and her husband Roland, sister Georgia Nagle, sister Florence Conroy, and brother-in-law; Anthony Specian.
Calling hours will be Friday, March 18, 2016 from 5-8pm. Funeral service Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11am. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment at Union Cemetery in Lebanon, NJ.
