Meise Chang, age 77 years, of Clinton Township

Meise Chang, age 77 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at her home.

Born in Taiwan, January 20, 1939, daughter of the late Ping-Wen Lin and Wang-Shih Lin-Wu, she emigrated to the United States in 1996.

Meise was a top chef whose cooking skills served her well as she worked for the Bank of Taiwan as a Chef for many years.

In addition to her cooking skills, Meise will be remembered as a vibrant and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her selfless nature is something that will also always be remembered and emulated by those who knew her. 

Meise loved to be outdoors and always led a very active lifestyle. Her love of nature made her a very introspective person and helped her to always put others needs before her own.

She was preceded in death by a close friend, Zung Fong “Larry” Chang in 2015.

Surviving are her husband of forty-eight years, Wei-Chao Chang; a son, Shih-Chou Chang of Annandale, NJ; two daughters, Chiaofen Chang and Chiao-I Chang, both of Clinton Township, NJ; a granddaughter, Zoe Yen of Clinton Township, NJ and many friends.

Funeral and cremation services are private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
