Michael J. Riordan, 75,

Mike grew up in Lambertville and graduated from Trenton Catholic Boy’s High School in 1957. He was a member of the Lambertville Drum & Bugle Corps and he served in the United States Air Force from 1959-1963. He attended college part time while raising his family and ultimately earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from LaSalle College. He had been employed by the McGraw Hill Company from 1974-1996 and most recently worked as an auditor for the State of New Jersey Department of Corrections retiring in 2013. 

Mike was a member of the Lambertville Elks Lodge # 1070, the Toscanni American Legion Post #120 in Lambertville, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Msgr. Crean Division in Hamilton. He was also a member of the National Navy Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) Seal Museum and ERRC in West Windsor. Mike had a deep interest in the Navy Seals Organization. 

Son of the late Edward A. and Minerva Wiley Riordan, he is survived by the love of his life Alta Shimko of Hamilton, one son Sean Riordan of Perkasie Pa., one daughter Ann Riordan of Bedminster, Pa. his siblings, Mary Brown and her husband Lee of Mechanicsville Pa., Edward Riordan and his wife Ann of Pt. Pleasant, NJ, Barbara McBreen and her husband Bob of Lansdale, Pa. and many nieces and nephews. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday April 11th at 10:30 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Lambertville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday April 10th from 6-9 pm at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. Lambertville, NJ.
