ENGLEWOOD, NJ – Michael Kemp, 63, of Englewood, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 at his home.
Born September 23, 1954 in Somerville, NJ, Michael lived in Hillsborough, NJ and Pittstown, NJ. He worked for LG Corp. in Englewood, NJ. Michael enjoyed a successful career in Logistics and Planning for Frigidaire in Edison, NJ and Bed Bath & Beyond in Union, NJ. Michael enjoyed playing golf and working with the latest technologies. Michael’s family legacy was his tireless support for all his children’s dreams and goals. Michael was a former member of the Frenchtown Presbyterian Church.
Son of the late Anthony and Florence (Johnson) Kemp, Michael is survived by his wife Karen Kemp, his two daughters Brandis DeSimone and her husband Todd of Larchmont, NY, and Ashley Springer and her husband Blair of Queens, NY, his son Steven Kemp and his significant other Lindsey Curry of Newport, RI, his sister Janice Savage, and his two grandchildren Blakely and Ryan. He was predeceased by his sister Susan Feddeler.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 10-11 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
