Mitchell A. Davis, 55, of Lambertville, NJ, went to be with his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on August 6, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents Wallace A. Davis & Jayne C. Davis & a brother Richard K. Davis.
Mitch is survived by two brothers – Charles B. Davis & his wife MaryAlice & Wallace Scott Davis & his wife Dawn, a nephew Lawrence A. Davis & his wife Chie & 3 great nieces & nephew – Michelle, Joyce & Shawn. He is also survived by an aunt – Janet Thatcher, cousins & many loving friends.
Mitch was employed at Lehigh Fluid Power, Lambertville, NJ for the last 28 years as a machinist. He was also an instructor at the Bucks Academy of Fencing (BCAF) for the last 25 years. He was certified by the United States Fencing Coaches Association as an instructor of foil & sabre, Mitch graduated from Voorhees High School in 1979 which is where he developed his love of fencing under Coach Jim Lawless. Mitch was a founding member of The Pennsylvania State Navy. For the last 25 years he participated in the annual Re-enactment Christmas Day Crossing of the Delaware at Washington Crossing Historic Park. He also was an avid pool player & captain of his pool team “Ace’s Eight Ball Addicts” out of Fran’s Pub, New Hope, PA.
A benefit will be held Tuesday August 16 at Fran’s Pub in New Hope, Pa from 6:00 pm until closing.
A Memorial Service will be held at Washington Crossing Historic Park (on the PA side) on August 21, 2016 at 3:30 PM with refreshments to follow on site at the General Greene Pavilion.
In lieu of flowers a “Mitch Davis Memorial & Funeral Fund” has been set up under “youcaring.com”
