On Wednesday, February 4, at approximately 4:50 pm, a 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander operated by Catrina Sciarrillo, age 30, of East Stroudsburg was traveling Route 31 North near Halstead Street when a dog ran into the roadway. Ms. Sciarillo slowed her speed and attempted to come to a stop. As she did, her vehicle was struck from behind by a 2003 Ford Focus operated by Craig Gillhaus, age 54, of Washington. Ms. Sciarillo was transported to the Hunterdon Medical Center for a complaint of head pain and both vehicles were towed from the scene. No summonses were issued. Patrolman Drew MacQueen investigated.
