Marijuana/Pellet Gun On Friday, June 24, at approximately 2:45 am, an officer stopped a 2014 Honda Civic operated by Jasmine Bethea, age 30, of Palmyra, PA on Route 626 near East Street for obstruction traffic and maintenance of lamps. During the stop, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage inside of the vehicle and also observed indication of marijuana use. A search produced several opened containers of alcoholic beverages, less than fifty (50) grams of marijuana, a pipe with residue, and a pellet gun. As a result, officers charged Stephanie Ostermayer, age 19, of Palmyra, PA with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Bethea, Alexis Orsini-Villa, age 23, of Harrisburg, PA, and Erick Abreu, age 24, of Harrisburg, PA were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. In addition, Ms. Bethea was issued motor vehicle summonses for Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage While Operating a Motor Vehicle, Maintenance of Lamps, and Failure to Produce Documents.
