NO WORKING TAILIGHTS – pot

On Sunday, May 17, at approximately 1:45 am, Patrolman David Formalarie stopped a 1993 Ford F150 operated by Alexander Thompson, age 18, of Clinton Township on Route 31 North near Dogwood Drive because the vehicle did not have any working taillights. During the stop, Ptl. Formalarie determined that Mr. Thompson was under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and backup officer Paul Bate observed a pipe containing suspected marijuana residue in plain view. Ptl. Formalarie arrested Mr. Thompson and charged him with Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Maintenance of Lamps, and Failure to Inspect. He was released ROR.
