Deadline extended to September 14th – The North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District Board of Education, Hunterdon County, NJ is accepting resumes from residents of the Town of Clinton, Franklin Township and Glen Gardner Borough who are interested in serving on the Board of Education to fill ONE vacant Board member seat. A candidate for school board member must meet the following requirements: 1) hold U.S. Citizenship and one year’s residency in the Town of Clinton, Franklin Township or Glen Gardner Borough; 2) be 18 years of age; 3) be able to read and write the English language; 4) be registered to vote in the District; 5) not hold office as mayor or member of the municipal governing body; 6) have no interest in any contract with, or claim against, the Board; 7) not simultaneously hold two elective offices; and 8) not be disqualified from membership for the conviction of certain crimes. Within 30 days of appointment to the Board, a member must undergo a criminal history background investigation through the NJ State Department of Education. This vacancy term will expire December 31, 2016.
The Board of Education will conduct interviews by appointment. Submissions, including a letter of interest and brief resume, must be received by noon, Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in the District Administration Office at:
