Delaware Township, NJ – George Henry Collier, age 94, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 at his home in Delaware Township surrounded by his family.

Born January 3, 1921, in Minneapolis, MN, George was the son of the late George and Nettie (Wilson) Collier. He was a Professor of Psychology for Rutgers University in New Brunswick for more than 45 years.
In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his wife Carolyn Kent Rovee-Collier in 2014.
He is survived by his sons, George Collier, Jr., of Califon, New Jersey, and his wife Aylin; Jon Collier, of Tampa, Florida; and James Collier, of Delaware Township, New Jersey, his step-sons George Benjamin Rovee, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and his wife Kersten; and Christopher Rovee, of Palo Alto, California, and his companion Giovanna Ceserani. He also is survived by two grandsons, Julian Rovee and Zachary Rovee, and one step-granddaughter, Emilia Moore.
Burial in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia is being planned at a later date.
