OFFICER ON BIKE NABS DRINK DRIVER PARKED IN MIDDLE OF THE STREET

@ approximately 8:45 PM – Police arrested Brian J. Bair, age 47 of Raritan Township and charged him with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana following contact with him on Spruce Court. While on bicycle patrol, Cpl. David Carson stopped to check on a vehicle that was parked in the middle of the road on Spruce Court. The vehicle was not running and someone, later identified as Bair, was sitting in the driver’s seat. Bair was also issued motor vehicle summonses for improper parking, cracked windshield, failure to inspect, possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. After processing at police headquarters, Bair was released. Investigation and arrest by Cpl. David Carson.
