Old York Cellars is celebrating Father’s Day by holding a weekend-long event. June 17th thru June 18th, dads will be offered complimentary chocolate shots (an edible chocolate cup filled with our ruby, PORTuguese-style dessert wine) and musical entertainment as a gift from Old York Cellars. Rob Viola will perform on Saturday and Tam Garcia will perform on Sunday; on both days, artists will take the stage from 1pm to 5pm.
Bottles of Old York Cellars’ “What Exit” line of wines will also feature a special Father’s Day label and will be available for purchase at the winery, the Bridgewater Mall location, and online at OldYorkCellars.com.
This year, the Father’s Day Weekend Event will feature an exclusive Wine & Wings Specialty Tasting. Limited to only sixteen seats per session, ticket-holders will be treated to an intimate, information-packed guided pairing of wine and wings. Flemington’s Blue Fish Grill will be providing the wings for the tasting; flavors include Original Buffalo, Korean Sweet and Spicy, Thai Red Curry, and Latin Mole BBQ. This diverse set of flavor profiles has been expertly paired with an extended flight of Old York Cellars’ finest wines.
Three Wing Pairing Specialty Tasting sessions are being offered on Saturday, June 17th, and an additional two sessions are being offered on Sunday, June 18th. Event-goers will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to either a 1 pm, 3 pm, or 5 pm tasting session on Saturday, as well as a 1 pm or 3 pm session on Sunday.
