Old York Cellars is hosting a weekend-long event to celebrate Hunterdon County by offering residents free wine tastings, half-off glasses of wine, and half-off wine slushies. Bottles of Old York Cellars’ What Exit line of wines labeled with town names specific to Hunterdon County will be discounted, and will be available for purchase at the winery, at the Bridgewater Mall location, and online atwww.OldYorkCellars.com. On Saturday, there will be a 5 pm Twilight Tour and Tasting. This fully-immersive experience sets a small group of guests on a guided tour of the vineyard, and then, once the tour is completed, guests are given a selection of fine artisan cheeses, handmade chocolates, and Old York Cellars’ award-winning wines to enjoy amidst the vines.

On both Saturday and Sunday, Old York Cellars will be holding several Specialty Cheese, Chocolate, and Wine Pairing sessions in the Vintner’s Tank Room, where a small group of guests will enjoy samples of gourmet cheeses and handcrafted confections paired with a flight of Old York Cellars wine.

To qualify as a Hunterdon County local and receive discounted glasses of wine, wine slushies, and free tastings, event-goers must possess and present a valid ID which showcases their Hunterdon County address. Discounted bottles of Old York Cellars What Exit line of wines labeled with town names specific to Hunterdon County will be available for all customers, regardless of their mailing address. Tickets to the Twilight Tour and Tasting and Specialty Cheese, Chocolate, and Wine Pairings must be purchased, as these specialty tastings are not included in the “free tastings” for Hunterdon County locals.
