On Wednesday, May 25, at approximately 1:55 am, an officer was following a 2016 Hyundai Sonata operated by Gregory Root, age 47, of Kinzers, PA on the jug handle from Route 22 West to Route 621 when Mr. Root stopped at the intersection, activated his hazard lights, and exited the vehicle with his hands in the air. Upon approaching the officer, Mr. Root inquired how to get back to Route 78 West, adding that he had just picked a friend up from the other side of the George Washington Bridge. With this, a backseat passenger opened up a rear door and began yelling back toward the officer.
