Possession, Being Under the Influence of, MDMA on rt 31 LEFT THE WHITE POWDER IN THE NOSTRIL

On Monday, May 4, at approximately 10:40 pm, Patrolman Drew MacQueen stopped a 2010 Ford Taurus operated by Alexander Brovich, age 21, of Clinton, on Route 31North prior to Route 173 because its left brake light was out. During the stop, Ptl. MacQueen observed a white powdered substance in Mr. Brovich’s left nostril. Ptl. MacQueen soon determined that Mr. Brovich had snorted crystalline MDMA and also discovered Mr. Brovich to be in possession of an additional small amount of it. As a result, Ptl. MacQueen arrested Mr. Brovich and charged him with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Being Under The Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Maintenance of Lamps, and Failure to Provide Proof of Registration. He was released ROR.
