On Tuesday, June 30, at approximately 9:10 pm, Patrolman Joseph SanGiovanni stopped a 2014 Hyundai Accent operated by Raheen Wilson, age 37, of Roselle, on Route 22 East after learning that Mr. Wilson’s driver’s license was suspended. During the stop, Mr. Wilson provided Ptl. SanGiovanni with a Florida driver’s license in the name of “Raheen Wison”, a vehicle registration that belonged to a “Raheem Wilson”, and an insurance card that belonged to “Raheen Wilson.” A search of the vehicle produced an empty prescription pill container and a prescription pill container containing nineteen (19) Clonazepam pills, both in the name of “Raheem Wilson”, as well as forty-one (41) new, small zip-lock bags. As a result, Ptl. SanGiovanni arrested Mr. Wilson and charged him with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Obtaining Prescription Drugs By Fraud, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Driving While Suspended, and Applying for a Vehicle Registration During Period of Suspension. He was released ROR.
