Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Being Under The Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Driving While Suspended, and Failure to Maintain Lane

Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe On Saturday, April 4, at approximately 12:25 am, Patrolman Umair Latif stopped a 2005 Dodge Ram operated by Anthony Tucceri, age 30, of South Plainfield on Interstate 78 West near Exit 17 for failing to maintain lane. During the stop, Ptl. Latif observed that Mr. Tucceri appeared to be under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and soon discovered Mr. Tucceri to have two (2) used hypodermic syringes in his waistband. Ptl. Latif arrested Mr. Tucceri and charged him with Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, Being Under The Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Driving While Suspended, and Failure to Maintain Lane. He was later released ROR.
