Severiano M. Cortez, 27, of Lambertville, NJ was arrested on March 9, 2016 at 4:35AM for multiple violations.
While on routine patrol, Sgt. Memolo observed Cortez’s vehicle traveling in the area of Brunswick Avenue with a fictitious license plate. Sgt. Memolo stopped Cortez in the area of Brunswick Avenue and Highland Avenue. Subsequent to investigation, Cortez was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and paraphernalia. In addition, Cortez was found to have an ATS warrant out of Lambertville in the amount of $841.00. Cortez was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Less Than 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While Suspended, Unlicensed Driver, Fictitious Plates, and Unregistered Vehicle. Cortez posted bail in full and was later released with a pending court date.
