On Monday, June 27, at approximately 4:50 pm, an officer stopped a 2012 Chevrolet Cobalt operated by DaShawn Campbell, Jr., age 21, of Roanoke, VA on Interstate 78 for failing to keep right and for having tinted windows. During the stop, the officer immediately detected the odor of raw marijuana and soon discovered Mr. Campbell to be in possession of a small amount of it and some related paraphernalia. As a result, Mr. Campbell was arrested and charged with Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Failure to Keep Right. He was released ROR. The Hunterdon County Narcotics Task Force assisted.
