Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Tinted Windows

Marijuana Possession On Thursday, April 2, at approximately 3:00 pm, Patrolman Drew MacQueen stopped a 2001 Chrysler Sebring operated by Rebecca Trewin, age 33, of Flemington on Route 22 near Route 639 for having tinted windows. During the stop, Ptl. MacQueen detected the odor of marijuana inside of the vehicle and soon discovered Ms. Trewin to be in possession of a small bag of it as well as a partially-smoked marijuana cigarette. As a result, Ms. Trewin was charged with Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a Motor Vehicle While In Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Tinted Windows. Passenger J.R. Murray, age 36, of Bound Brook, was charged with Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. Both were released ROR.
