Presentation on the voting process and voter rights is being held on Monday, February 12, beginning at 7:00 PM at Beaver Brook

An important presentation on the voting process and voter rights is being held on Monday, February 12, beginning at 7:00 PM at Beaver Brook Country Club in Annandale.  This presentation is open to the public, and along with all adults, teens and first-time voters are strongly encouraged to attend.  Mary H. Melfi, County Clerk, and Beth Thompson, Director Board of Elections, will be there to answer all the questions they are frequently asked each voting cycle.   Attendees will leave this presentation more informed and prepared to answer questions.

Among the many questions being addressed:

  • Voter Registration
  • Early Voting
  • Student and Military Voting
  • Party Affiliation
  • Why vote in the primary?
  • How to disseminate ballot questions

Hosted by North Hunterdon Republican Club, there is no fee for this event, which addresses government and civics, not politics.   Bring your questions with you, or come to hear what others are asking.   To allow for proper planning, please register at nhrepublicanclub2017@gmail.com or call Linda at (908) 303-1945.
