The County of Hunterdon invites the public to attend a visioning session to discuss and review
the first draft of the Strategic Parks and Open Space Plan for Hunterdon County. The meeting
will be held on
Thursday November 17
at 6:00 pm in the Freeholder Meeting Room, 2
Floor Administration Building, 71 Main St., Flemington.
Everyone is welcome and
encouraged to attend.
The purpose of this meeting is to actively invite public participation and
involvement in the next step of the planning process.
The Strategic Plan
will guide the County in current and future parks and recreation provisions to
determine how the current systems effectively serve the community. The current draft was
derived from a public outreach effort that included numerous focus groups, a public survey, and
stakeholder input. Additional information including a copy of the draft plan can be found at

process. Maser has been
assisted by a nationally-known parks and recreation management consulting firm, GreenPlay,
