“Pumpkin Month” festivities in Flemington throughout October Costume swaps, Oktoberfest, shopping, restaurants, and so much more

October is “Pumpkin Month” in the City of Flemington, and Flemington Community Partnership will be presenting a broad range of autumn-themed events all the way through Halloween.

“Autumn is a particularly lovely time here in Hunterdon County – it’s all about cooling temperatures and the warm feeling of time spent with family and friends,” says Judy Goodwin, executive director of Flemington Community Partnership. “We’re tremendously excited about all the events that are taking place. Really, there’s something – probably several things, in fact – for every family member.”

Highlights of Pumpkin Month will include the Flemington Fine Artisans Craft Show, the Great Pumpkin Hunt, the Hunterdon PBA Food Truck Festival, and a Haunted Tour of Historic Hunterdon County Courthouse Jail.

Many of the autumn-themed decorations that are visible throughout Flemington were arranged by community volunteers, including Police Chief Jerry Rotella and Borough Tax Collector Rebecca Newman.

“Anything to help the community,” Rotella commented during set-up.
