HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ – Rachel Elizabeth Curry, 20, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016.

Born September 19, 1995 in Raritan Township, NJ, Rachel was a lifelong resident of Holland Township, NJ. She graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 2013 and was attending the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. Rachel also attended Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg, NJ. She worked at Finnagel’s Restaurant in Clinton, NJ. Rachel was known for her radiant smile, kindness, generous spirit, and passion for adventure and travel. In her short life, she has traveled through 27 states, trekked through Southeast Asia, Israel, Peru, Bolivia, Canada, Mexico, and France, and was an exchange student in Germany. Rachel loved the outdoors and was passionate about the environment. She made a mark on hundreds of cousins and friends.

Rachel is survived by her parents Thomas and Debra (Wohl) Curry, MD of Holland Township, NJ, her brother Brett Curry of Holland Township, NJ, her sister Candace Redwine of Tennessee, and her maternal grandparents Herbert and Mickey Wohl of Middle Island, NY. She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Rachel was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Vernor and Birdie Curry and her step-sister Jennifer Rathel.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 4-6 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ, followed by words of remembrance from 6-7 PM.
