Ramiro Martinez, age 31 years, of Flemington Borough, NJ, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born on August 18, 1986 in Puebla, Mexico, he was the son of Isaura Angilina and Amado Javier Martinez. He had resided in Flemington for the past twelve years.
Ramiro was currently the manager of L.A. Cafe, which is the restaurant inside the Hunterdon Medical Center. For many years he has faithfully served countless people both at the L.A. Cafe and at The Bagel Club in Raritan Township, NJ. His work ethic along with his smile will be sorely missed.
He was a very enthusiastic soccer fan and enjoyed both playing with his friends as well as rooting for Mexico during their games.
Ramiro lived for his family and friends and his positive spirit will forever be remembered.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of two years, Mary Martinez; his step-son, Bryan Pflugfelder; his cousin who was like his brother, Oscar Martinez; his Godson, Samuel Sanchez; and many extended family and friends, both in the United States and in Mexico.
Life Celebration services under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ will be announced and held in January of 2018. This page will be updated with the day and time once it is finalized.
