Raymond Majercak, age 48 of Throop, passed away Tuesday morning at the Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Taylor.
Born on November 29, 1967, in Passaic, New Jersey, son of Stephen Majercak of Clinton, N.J., and the late Antoinette Maksimowicz Majercak, Raymond was a graduate of Bishop O’Hara High School. After attending Raritan Valley Community College, he worked for New York Life Company for over ten years.
He was a bowling enthusiast, having bowled in numerous local South Side Lanes leagues. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hiking, biking and running, having completed several 5K races. He loved sports and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Raymond will be dearly missed by his loving family.
He is also survived by his siblings, Steven Majercak of Throop, Valerie Bogart and husband Paul of Asbury, N.J., David Majercak and wife Suzanne of Livermore, California, Thomas Majercak of Bridgewater, N.J., and John Majercak and wife Regina of Wayne; many nieces and nephews; and two aunts, Mildred Novack of Moscow and Jean Troxler of Shepherdsville, West Virginia.
His family wishes to thank the entire staffs of both Riverside Center and Moses Taylor Hospital for their collective care of Raymond throughout his illness.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 59 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ 08829. Inurnment at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, NJ. Arrangements by Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
